Plain-Language Overview

At Cabinet Depot we believe planning your dream kitchen should be an enjoyable, welcoming, and seamless experience for everyone—both online and in our showrooms. Whether you are using a screen reader, browsing with a keyboard, navigating with assistive technology, or visiting one of our New England showrooms in person, we are dedicated to providing accessible products, digital tools, and customer support.

If you ever encounter any difficulty accessing information on our website or need assistance planning your cabinetry or appliances, our team is here to assist you by phone, email, or in-person consultation.

1. Digital Accessibility Standards

We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our guiding standard. These international guidelines outline how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities.

Key accessibility features implemented across our website include:

High-contrast color modes and legible type scales
Descriptive alternative text (alt tags) on product and gallery images
Full keyboard navigation and clear visual focus indicators
Semantic HTML markup for screen reader software
Responsive layout scaling across desktops, tablets, and mobile phones
Descriptive link text and clear button labeling

2. In-Person Showroom Accessibility

Our 8 showroom locations across New Hampshire and Massachusetts are designed to welcome all visitors:

  • Physical Access: Showrooms feature designated accessible parking spaces and step-free ground-level entrances.
  • Clear Aisles: Display aisles and kitchen vignettes are arranged with open pathways to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices.
  • One-on-One Assistance: Our showroom design pros are happy to retrieve door samples, measure displays, review specifications, or provide personalized design walkthroughs.
  • Alternative Formats: Large-format printed brochures, high-contrast door samples, and digital 3D renderings are available upon request during your visit.

3. Remote Consultation & Alternative Ordering

If you prefer not to visit a showroom, you can complete your entire kitchen or bathroom project remotely:

  • Phone Consultations: Review cabinet lines, door styles, and appliance suites directly with an expert designer by calling 1-855-4CABS2U.
  • Virtual 3D Design: Email your room measurements or blueprints to info@cabinetdepot.com, and we will prepare a full 3D layout and line-item quote for you.
  • Sample Delivery: Physical cabinet door samples can be ordered and shipped straight to your home so you can view finishes in your own lighting.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Content

While we work closely with our partners and technology vendors to ensure third-party tools (such as interactive maps, payment processors, and manufacturer PDF specification sheets) meet accessibility standards, some third-party elements may occasionally have limitations outside our direct control. If you encounter difficulty using any integrated feature, please contact us and we will provide the information directly.

5. Ongoing Review & Improvement

Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically test our website against evolving standards and assistive technologies. We welcome feedback from customers and accessibility advocates on how we can improve our digital tools, showroom displays, and ordering processes.

6. Accessibility Assistance & Feedback

If you experience any accessibility barriers or require assistance with any part of our site or showrooms, please reach out to our team. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
